Engagements
The San Diego Master Chorale mission statement, to promote and preserve the art of choral music through performance, education, and diverse community outreach reflects our desire to perform and to provide the highest quality choral music services to the greater San Diego area. We are regularly engaged to perform with the San Diego Symphony, the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, and other musical organizations.
As an independent arts organization, we are also available for private or community engagements throughout San Diego. We can provide programming and performance services for varied events with a wide range of repertoire and ensembles. Flexibility in group size can range from the full Chorale of 125 singers to smaller ensembles tailored for each event.
We specialize in performing for conventions, thematic group events, sporting venues, church concerts, and other occasions. Our repertoire includes:
- Classic choral works
- Musical theater selections
- Opera chorus selections
- Patriotic works
- Spirituals
- Popular songs
- Specially written song words to honor/roast guests or groups
- New works from emerging composers
We can respond with prepared repertoire or custom tailor a program to meet the needs of an event. If you wish, we can also help coordinate other musicians or program related services (such as audio or video recording).
