Choral Foundations

A Summer Choral Singing Workshop
Choral Foundations is a summer workshop series focused on the art of ensemble singing. Through an engaging rehearsal process featuring three to four choral works, adult singers strengthen essential skills including blend, balance, tuning, diction, and musical communication.
The workshop culminates in an informal rehearsal and performance alongside members of the San Diego Master Chorale.
Choral Foundations: June 2027
Designed as a companion to SDMC’s Vocal Foundations program, this workshop offers a welcoming opportunity to stay musically engaged, continue developing musicianship, and experience the joy of singing in community during the summer.
Participants should be comfortable reading sheet music and practicing independently between rehearsals. Registration for Choral Foundations begins in Spring 2027.
