Choral Bridges is a dynamic collaboration between the San Diego Master Chorale and San Diego State University designed to give music education majors real-world experiences that will enrich their future classrooms. Participants engage in rehearsal, concert production, and learn essential voice, conducting, and staging techniques alongside experienced performers and arts leaders.

Through sessions held at San Diego Master Chorale’s Learning Studio in Mission Valley, students explore key aspects of arts administration, including fundraising, marketing, and board governance. Working closely with SDSU faculty and Chorale staff, students gain a comprehensive understanding of both the artistic and administrative sides of leading music organizations. Choral Bridges complements collegiate studies with hands-on learning, empowering the next generation of music educators to build vibrant, sustainable arts programs in their communities.
