Experience the Music Behind BACH | MASS IN B MINOR

SDMC’s Lecture at the Library series invites audiences to go beyond the concert and discover the stories, ideas, and history behind the music we perform. These free community talks offer an engaging and accessible way to explore choral music—no musical background required.

This season, we turn our attention to Bach’s monumental Mass in B Minor, exploring the music and context behind one of the greatest works in the choral repertoire ahead of SDMC’s April performances.

Join us for this free and illuminating afternoon — a perfect way to deepen your appreciation of the voices, stories, and luminous choral artistry.
