Pre-Screen Submission Requirements
All new singers are required to submit a pre-screening video of a recent solo performance within the last 6 months. Your pre-screen video will determine if you will be invited to participate at in-person auditions. You will be notified at least 2 weeks prior to the audition date if you have been selected for an in-person audition with a corresponding schedule. STEP 1. If you have not already done so, please complete the Audition Request Form here.

STEP 2. Create a VIDEO recording following these guidelines. You will need to film both a Song/Aria and Vocalization.

1. Song/Aria – One song or aria of your choice. Please choose something that showcases the best parts of your voice and conforms to the video criteria in #3.
2. Vocalization – Please demonstrate the highest and lowest notes of your range using the arpeggio below (start with your lowest comfortable note and repeat this arpeggio until you reach the top of your range). Please sing a cappella, but you may use this piano recording as a reference for learning the arpeggio: LINK
3. Video Criteria:
   1. Audio-visual recordings must be submitted to meet the pre-screening requirement (audio-only files will not be reviewed).
   2. Recordings may be unaccompanied.
   3. The recordings must be unedited and presented without added digital reverb. 
   4. A professional recording setting and/or professional equipment are not necessary for this prescreening stage (for example, filming at home on a phone or computer will suffice).
   5. Recordings should have been made recently, within the last 6 months.
   6. Your pre-screening repertoire choice may be repeated at the live audition should you pass the prescreening stage.
