Prelude Tickets provide free admission to select San Diego Master Chorale concerts for local students. By removing financial barriers, the program gives young people an opportunity to experience live choral music, connect classroom learning with live performance, and develop a lasting appreciation for the arts.

Prelude Tickets are available for select performances and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests must be submitted at least one week before the performance by a primary, secondary, or college music educator or choir director.

2026-27 Prelude Ticket Performances

Through our Prelude Tickets program, the SD Master Chorale offers free concert admission for local students to select performances each season. By removing financial barriers, this initiative gives young people the chance to experience live choral music—an opportunity that can spark inspiration, deepen learning, and foster a lifelong love of the arts.

For the 2026-27 Season, free student tickets are available for three concerts:

• Horizons – October 24 & 25, 2026
• Bach | Mass in B Minor – April 10 & 11, 2027
• Joyful Noise – May 29 & 30, 2027

With Prelude Tickets, students don’t just attend a concert—they gain exposure to world-class choral artistry, connect classroom learning to live performance, and become part of San Diego’s vibrant musical community.
