Stage & Screen

June 1, 2024

“We’ve done the hard part for you by selecting the best parts of all of these operas, films, and music theater pieces and put them all in one concert, all in one place, all in one playlist for you.”

Take a seat and raise the curtain on one of the San Diego Master Chorale‘s most celebrated programs as we present an encore performance of Stage & Screen—a magical blend of choral music from opera, musical theater, and film.

From Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For” from Barbie, to the dramatic crescendos of Verdi’s masterful operas, the SD Master Chorale brings to life the songs that have shaped our cultural memories. The program also features music from La La Land, Wonka, Trolls, Carmen, Omar, Candide, and much more!

Join us for an evening filled with joy, nostalgia, and a performance that resonates across generations, touching the hearts of music lovers young and old.

This concert features special guests, the San Diego Children’s Choir.
